We welcome you to come stay with us at the Hatfield-McCoy Inn, located at the Matewan Trailhead. You can drop off your truck and ATV trailer and head straight for the Hatfield-McCoy Trails!
Our guest rooms are the largest in town, making your stay very comfortable. The layout includes carpet floors and porcelain tile baths and foyers. Each room is equipped with a full size bath and shower, refrigerator, coffee-maker, and dining area.
The rooms lead to a front street overlook and a back street observation deck above a gorgeous courtyard with views of scenic mountains, the Matewan Floodwall, and Matewan TrailHead area. Relax in the courtyard and enjoy dinner and the entertainment of local musicians and comedians. Something good is always cooking up!
We have a nice lobby where you can relax, read a good book, mingle, or watch satellite TV/movies and a meeting room that can accommodate up to 50 or more people.
We offer other lodging in town at The Matewan Garden Cottage. The Cottage can sleep 8 people downstairs and 4 people upstairs.
It is accommodated with two bathrooms, refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, tv's and is located at the Matewan Trailhead as well.
The cottage is a cozy, relaxing little place. You can sit out at night and enjoy the towns quite atmosphere.
You are only steps away from the rest of the Resort and are welcome to join us in the courtyard for entertainment, eat at Wingo's, enjoy the arcade room, relax and go fishing, or kayak and canoe on our riverfront property.
