We have the best getaway primitive campsite ever!
Come, pitch a tent on the river bank. This is a great place to sit back and relax after a long day of ATV riding on the Hatfield and McCoy Trail. You can fish, swim, or even ride one of our kayaks or canoes.
You can look across the river and actually see the site where the Hatfields killed the three McCoy boys during the Hatfield and McCoy Feud.
You can gather up a game of horseshoes with a few fellow neighbors. There are grills to prepare your food or you can throw some logs on the camp fire and roast a few wieners and marshmallows.
Don't worry about a place to put your vehicle and ATV trailer, you can park in the desinated parking area and ride your atv's to the campsite. The parking area is directly beside the Matewan Police Department.
You can use the Showers at the Matewan Trail Head.
We welcome you to camp with us – we’re sure you’ll have lots of fun!
